My Verdict on Langham Hotel London
The Langham Hotel Rates / Promotion
If you love the classic blend with contemporay decor, then the langham london hotel does offer that character and charm. Aside from that, the hotel is very conveniently located - close to West End, trendy shopping, and attractions like the London Zoo!
More importantly, the refurbished rooms are great, and extremely comfortable. Like any good five-star accommodation, The Langham Hotel London offers a very nice welcome gifts of fruits, macarons, and bottled water in our room.
But what I enjoyed most about was, the simple gesture - you will get a replenished supply of fruit bowls nightly. Personally, a small gesture like this goes a long way in making you feel welcomed at the hotel.
If I had to complain about anything about the rooms (which is a very minor issue) is the over-use of pink, puce, and lavender themes. And if you need internet access, just make the effort to visit an internet cafe. What the hotel charges is best used on other things like shopping and food.
Also worth of note - you will have to pay a fee to enter the gym and pool! That's a nuisance...
Surprisingly, the hotel restaurant is very good, and has a reasonably fixed price menu for hotel guests. I don't usually, 'eat in' but The Landau and The Palm Court are worth a visit.
But if you want something local nearby, you have a choice of a nice pizza restaurant which is just across the street and on Charlotte Street, there's over 10 restaurants to choose from.
Lastly, the location of the hotel is fantastic - nearby, you have the theatres, restaurants and on Regent Street, there's the commerce and trendy shopping. As well, Regent Park is only a 10 minute walk away. What makes it even easier are the close proximity of the Tube and the Station.
Great hotel for a family on vacation with kids.
Overall, The Langham Hotel London is worth the 5 start rating, and it is a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting London.
